The rising sun strikes the rugged eastern face of Hart Ridge in the Never Summer Mountains on the western border of Rocky Mountain National Park.
The Never Summer Mountains comprise 17 named peaks, 10 of which rise above 12,000 ft MSL. The range lies along the western border of Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado.
