Northeast of the ancient town of Lijiang in Yunnan Province, China, within an area called the Jade Spring Park, lies the Black Dragon Pool. On the horizon lies Yulong Snowy Mountain, whose highest peak Shanzidou reaches 5,596 meters. This scene is widely considered as one of China's finest views. In the center of the lake is the tiny Yiwen Pavillion, and farther back to its right is the Deyue Pavilion [Moon-Embracing Pavilion].

Just left of center, the slope-topped Atago Green Hills Mori Tower. At center in the distance, the Sumida River enters Tokyo Bay at the green patch of Hamarikyu Garden, and Rainbow Bridge arches across the Bay to Daiba on the horizon just right of center.
